Connecticut Food Association is thrilled to welcome our newest Spring intern, Julian Laird, from Trinity College in Hartford. Julian will be working at the CFA office over the next few months as our Communications and Public Affairs Intern.
Julian, from Northampton, MA, is a senior majoring in Sociology. He recently finished a year-long term as President of Trinity’s chapter of the Alpha Epsilon Pi fraternity.
A graduate from Northampton High School, Julian possesses outstanding skills including but not limited to communication, organization, creative thinking, problem-solving, Microsoft office, and social media content creation/generation.
This semester, Julian will be busy at CFA helping us advocate on behalf of the Connecticut grocery community. His responsibilities will include but are not limited to the creation of CFA’s monthly newsletter – FoodBytes, developing campaign marketing materials, digital media strategy, and social media posts.
Julian hopes to use his learning and experiences with the CFA to aid in his future dream to pursue a degree in social work with the goal of treating people with mental health disorders.
