Wayne Pesce
President
Wayne Pesce joined the Connecticut Food Association in September of 2015. Prior to joining CFA, Mr. Pesce served as Vice President of National Retail Sales at Coca-Cola where he was responsible for supermarket customers in the Northeast with annual retail sales over $100 million. He previously worked as a route driver, district sales manager, key account manager and director of sales during his 20 plus year career at Coca-Cola.
Pesce has been recognized for his leadership in the food industry having been inducted into the Connecticut Food Association Hall of Fame in 2013 and previously served as second vice-chairman of their Board of Directors. He is also a former Executive Committee member of the Food Industry Alliance of New York State. Mr. Pesce is a former board member of the Connecticut Food Policy council and served on the joint state task force on recycling and extended producer responsibility.
Pesce holds a BS degree in Corporate Communications from Southern Connecticut State University. He also attended the University of Connecticut MBA program and has been a guest speaker for subsequent UConn MBA classes. He is a parent council member at the Westover School in Middlebury, CT and resides in Middlebury with his wife and two daughters.
