Big Y Donates to Local Breast Cancer Groups

Big Y Supermarkets have donated proceeds from their October initiative “Partners of Hope” to 31 local breast cancer support groups throughout Massachusetts and Connecticut according to VP Claire D’Amour-Daley.

Stop & Shop Donates Over 6,000 Toys To Connecticut Children’s

Stop & Shop associates from Connecticut delivered a truck full of toys to Connecticut Children’s ahead of the holidays through a partnership with the Connecticut Lottery Corporation’s (CLC) 8th annual “Give a Child a Toy, Not a Ticket” Holiday Toy Drive.

Price Chopper/Market 32 cuts food waste and emissions

With the help of the Invafresh fresh food retail platform, regional supermarket chain Price Chopper/Market 32 says it prevents 20 tons of fresh food from being wasted each week and is projected to prevent more than 3,000 tons of food waste over the next three years.
