We are excited to host Brooke Agro from Trinity College in Hartford as Connecticut Food Association’s Fall Communications and Public Affairs Intern.
Brooke, from Middletown, CT, is a sophomore majoring in Film Studies and Psychology. She is a Presidential Scholar, Catalyst Leadership Ambassador, Advertising Coordinator for the Fred Pfeil Community Project, Creative Designer for the Trinity Film Festival, and Media Team member for TEDx at Trinity College. Brooke is also a member of Best Buddies, ACES, and the Ballroom Club.
A graduate in Graphic Design from H.C. Wilcox Technical High School and Dance Camp Director with the Meriden YMCA, Brooke Agro possesses outstanding skills including but not limited to communication, organization, InDesign, Premiere, Illustrator, Microsoft office, WordPress, and social media content creation/generation.
This semester, Brooke will be busy at CFA helping us advocate on behalf of the Connecticut grocery community. Her responsibilities will include but are not limited to the creation of CFA’s monthly newsletter – FoodBytes, developing campaign marketing materials, digital media strategy, and social media posts.
Brooke hopes to use her learning and experiences with the CFA to aid in her future dream to create media that promotes awareness of treatment and acceptance for those with mental disorders as a filmmaker and practicing Clinical Psychologist.
