The Connecticut Food Association in conjunction with the United States Army Reserve sponsored its 3rd Annual House of Bread Ruck March on the morning of Sunday, December 5, 2021.The men and women of the U.S. military marched with rucksacks full of food donations to support our neighbors in need. We are grateful to the House of Bread in Hartford who received these food donations for their efforts helping our state’s most vulnerable residents.
About The House of Bread
The House of Bread provides urban ministry to the economically disadvantaged in the Hartford area, including housing and shelter, education, medical/psychological services and legal services.
Simplicity, dignity and respect are characteristics of our services to the hungry, homeless and needy population. The House of Bread serves nearly 2,000 people every day.
